Montreux House: A Hidden Hospitality Gem in Wyoming

Inside Montreux House — a refined Wyoming hospitality property where natural stone from Ollin Surfaces anchors the interiors with warmth, durability, and mountain-modern elegance.
Imagine stepping into a time capsule where the future of architecture meets the charm of history. That's precisely what the House of Tomorrow offers. Located amidst the picturesque backdrop of the San Jacinto Mountains, this architectural gem was commissioned by the Alexander Construction Company and masterfully crafted by renowned architect William Krisel in 1960. With its unique design of four interconnected circular structures, the house provides stunning panoramic views that make it seem as if it were a spacecraft poised above the desert sands. Elvis Presley and his bride Priscilla had initially set their sights on marrying at this very location in the spring of 1967. However, swamped by media attention, they opted for a Las Vegas wedding and reserved the House of Tomorrow as their honeymoon retreat, earning it the charming nickname "Honeymoon Hideaway." This residence became symbolic of the glittering lifestyle of the 60s, where the living room's rock wall and a spacious pool beckoned partygoers looking for an escape into luxury.
